Three seats on the St. Francis Area Schools School Board will be on the ballot in the general election held on Tuesday, Nov. 3. A Meet the Candidates event is scheduled for Tuesday, Sept. 22 at 7 p.m. at the District Office. The event is hosted by the St. Francis Area Schools Community Education Advisory Council (CEAC).
The event will include an interview-style format and the community is invited to meet the candidates through questions developed and gathered by the CEAC.
The meeting will be recorded and will be uploaded to the District’s YouTube channel.
Three at-large seats will be filled by a general election. Elected board members will take office in January 2027 and serve until January 2031.
Ballots are available for early in person voting on Sept. 18. Polling locations can be found on the Minnesota Secretary of State website at www.sos.state.mn.us or by calling 651-215-1440.
