Our Transportation Department was awarded a Sustainability Award from Lakes Gas on behalf of the Minnesota Propane Association. St. Francis is the first Minnesota school district to be presented with this award. Lakes Gas recognizes the district's commitment to having a majority of school buses be propane powered. Propane buses are cost-effective, warm up quicker in the winter, and are more environmentally friendly than typical diesel/unleaded fuel-powered buses. Congratulations to our transportation department for receiving the Sustainability Award!
